Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to inform you about the upcoming Christmas Activities and the Christmas Vacation for the Gwendoline van Putten School during the 2023-2024 season.
Join us on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023, from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm for the GvP School Christmas Fun Day. The Houses will engage in exciting indoor and outdoor games, and students are required to wear their House shirt along with the GvP School sportswear uniform. Your presence is warmly welcomed, and we kindly ask you to confirm your attendance with your child’s mentor.
The Christmas Celebration will take place on Thursday, December 14th, 2023, starting at 7:30 am. Students should wear their GvP School uniform for the Christmas Service which will be held at the Seventh Day Adventists Church. Mentors will accompany their classes, and after the service, a Christmas Breakfast will be offered for all students and staff at the covered area in the school. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 am on this day. Please ensure that your child’s attire adheres to the school rules on both days.
Friday, December 15th, 2023, marks Kingdom Day, a national holiday, and the beginning of the students’ Christmas Vacation. School will resume on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024.
