On Friday October 7th, 2022, the GvP faculty and staff enjoyed a day trip to the island of St. Maarten. This was the GvP School Board’s way of expressing their appreciation to their teachers and boy did they have a grand time. The teachers and support staff were treated to breakfast, a dubble-decker bus tour, and lunch, after which they were able to enjoy some free shopping time or engage in any activity of their choice.
During the lunch, the entire faculty and staff officially bid farewell to former principal Rosalie Edelstein -Lopes and presented her with a token of love and appreciation for her time at GvP. It was a day well deserved for the individuals who continue to mold the young minds of Statia’s future.
