The GvP School Science Department proudly hosted the Brainy Science Showdown Quiz 2025, an intellectually charged event that brought together science students in a vibrant
display of knowledge, confidence, and collaborative spirit.
Spearheaded by the dedicated educators of the science department, the quiz was designed as both a competitive platform and a learning opportunity. Students from various forms, especially Form 2, rose to the challenge, showcasing their academic strength, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making abilities. With a live audience in attendance, the event also served as an excellent revision tool, engaging learners as they prepare for the upcoming end-of-term examinations.
Beyond its academic benefits, the Brainy Science Showdown played a pivotal role in enhancing students’ public speaking and communication skills. Participants gained confidence as they articulated complex scientific ideas clearly and effectively—skills that are essential in both academic and professional settings.
Adding further prestige to the event was the involvement of staff members from other departments who served as judges.
